Starters competition is for any dog older than 12 months that has not yet earned it's 'flyball dog' award (200 points), the lanes are netted in and the hurdles are the minimum 7”, it is a great way of introducing youngsters and beginners to competition.

The line up of this team will keep changing throughout the season as starter dogs get older and improve and move into sanctioned competition. It's not always possible for every club to get 4 starter dogs together to compete so we also regularly run young dogs from other teams in our starters team to.
